                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 110
                   BIRMINGHAM HIGHWAY, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE
                   OF BIRMINGHAM HIGHWAY AT MODERN INDUSTRIES
                   BOULEVARD, FROM M-2 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE TO
                   C-1 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 110 Birmingham Highway,
                being on the southeast line of Birmingham Highway
                at Modern Industries Boulevard.  Lot 1, Lookout
                Valley Industrial Park, as shown by plat of record
                in plat book 50, page 336, ROHC; being part of the
                property described in deed book 3019, page 688,
                ROHC.
               
               
         from M-2 Light Industrial Zone to C-1 Highway Commercial Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Deed restrictions as shown on document attached 
hereto
                   and incorporated by reference.
        
              2.   Landscaping along the road frontage; and
        
              3.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
